WHAT EMOTIONAL EATING LOOKS LIKE

I am not the typical poster girl for emotional eating. I look relatively thin, I run a successful online fitness business, and I am ALWAYS smiling, happy and the one with the MOST energy in the room. 

For years I have hid my stuggle with binge eating, over eating, emotional eating and starving myself to hit my goals. 

This is my truth and why I founded E3 to End Emotional Eating.

I’m a fraud😒

Wrong! I have been struggling with emotional eating for about 4 years following my assault and depression.

I’m either starving myself and working out using my programs excessively or I’m binge eating

I have NEVER been in between

It’s my best kept secret and one that haunts me

People think emotional eating is being 100 lbs over weight or struggling with weight all their life.

It usually doesn’t look like me but it IS ME! I am either starving or over eating so I don’t look “the part”

At times I feel like such a fake helping women hit their goals while I’m on the couch crying stuffing my face with ice cream

I am SOOOO excited to have teamed up with Beachbody and Ilana Muhlsteinrd a Registered Dietician, to launch 2B Mindset. A program SPECIFICALLY designed to help women & men like me LOSE WEIGHT the healthy way WITHOUT exercising but changing our MINDSET around food.

Meet the co-creator of 2b Mindset

Ilana Muhlstein MS, RDN—the highest standard in the field of nutrition

Ilana Muhlstein is an MS, RDN—the highest standard in the field of nutrition—and she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Maryland. She completed her dietetic internship through Cal Poly Pomona and clinical rotations at City of Hope Medical Center. She received a Masters of Science degree in Applied Nutrition from Northeastern University. She maintains a successful private practice in Beverly Hills and at UCLA. She’s excited about creating the 2B Mindset weight-loss program with us, which continues her mission to help people lose weight happily—and learn how to keep it off. Ilana loves food and likes to eat lots of it. She’s a self-proclaimed volumeeater. She knew that the only way she could lose weight and keep it off would be to figure out how she could stay full and satisfied along the way. Since no such eating program really existed, she decided to create her own. Ultimately, not only did she personally lose 100 pounds using the 2B Mindset principles, she’s now able to share her tips, tools, and strategies to help others reach their weight-loss goals.

Why did we create E3 with 2B Mindset

My fitness company,  is well-known for its iconic fitness programs and nutritional products like Shakeology, our SuperFood Shake®. And while our fitness programs have always come with an eating plan, we have decided it was time to create a “nutrition-first” weight-loss program for those who can’t—or aren’t ready to—start with fitness right away.

We still believe that the formula for success is Fitness + Nutrition + Support; but for some people, starting with nutrition first is an easier and more realistic path forward.
